Hey everybody, it’s week 16 of the GRAVE Friday Updates! This was a slow week for the game, but a fast week for almost everything else - new game consoles, kickstarters, steam launches, and even a bit of client work… crazy times. Throughout the intensity though we still managed to prepare for this weekend’s big (and sadly remote) GRAVE gameplay jam. We’ve got about two and a half pages of a google doc to implement over the course of a couple of days, and we’ll be taking a lot of notes and dedicating next week’s blog post to that whole process.
In the meantime though, we’ve got part two of Alec’s FullIndie talk and a sneak peek at some possible new monster designs. Continue reading for all that good stuff and a some serious reflections on the role of collaboration in game-making!
Cool Kickstarter campaigns!

Emerald is a sweet story-driven action/adventure game made by our friend Nick Yonge, featuring awesome sound/music by Power Up Audio.
Thank you! :)
We just started to work on a new project, for now we are calling it “Tapestry” :)
We are three Brazilian game developers currently residing in the land of Her Royal Majesty, the Queen, making games and living crazy adventures but always back in time for tea. We are Karen (bitmOO, 2D artist), Rodrigo (amz, coder) and Murillo (titonbrujah, coder). We are all…
The guys from JoyMasher are EXPERTS in making awesome retro games, and they need a little help to get some music for their latest project, Odallus!
